~ TRIUMPHANT TEARS OF A WOUNDED WOMAN ~

We are not only women.

We are voters.

We are providers.

We are grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and aunts that work

diligently towards the raising of our young so they may become as

radiant as the mid winter sun.

We too have ideas.

We fulfill our dreams.

We are decision makers.

We stand.

We express ourselves.

We have a voice and demand to be heard.

We are today's woman, proudly existing & continuing to make a difference that will make history because we are... REMARKABLE!

~ THE LITTLE THINGS ARE REALLY BIGGER & WHAT TRULY MATTER ~

I appreciate life just because

I can see my children’s faces and still know who they are.

I appreciate life just because

I can smell that rain storm coming with every breeze.

I appreciate life just because

I can see that bright sun shining through my window.

I appreciate life just because

I am breathing.

I appreciate ME.

I appreciate life and so should YOU!

                                                                                      ~REBIRTH OF ME ~

Many of us may have been called.

But I was chosen.

Chosen to open the eyes of many.

Chosen to remind you that life is.

I am free to be who I was made to be - ME!

I take care of this person first.

WHO AM I?

I. AM. HERE.

~ I ALREADY FORGAVE YOU WHICH IS WHY I’M FINE ~

I’ve been told that I am a strong, ambitious & a take charge type of woman.

Yes, I am of the rib of a man.

But not for him to kick, punch or smack.

Your foolishness was only a temporary setback.

And when you pushed me – I shifted into overdrive.

When you do see me – you can’t even look up – and why?

Because of individuals like yourself who try to rob others of their lives.

I’ve had both, good & bad days since we’ve parted & I’m not going to lie - it’s been rough.

But I’ve been recycled and my contents are remarkable, they’re extremely tough.

No matter what, every day I smile.

And I plan to keep on grinning for a very long while.

~ DON’T FORGET ME NOR THE MEANING OF MY NAME ~

In the early 70’s, Nichole was the name given to me at birth.

During my first five years of elementary school, I realized that I

wasn’t the only Nichole on this Earth.

There were so many of us to the point where our teachers had to

assign nick names.

To me, the name was simply lame.

As a young child I began to dislike my name & as a young adult, I

was truly disgusted with it.

I’ve lived a little. I gave birth to five children and survived brain surgery. Forty years later, I've grown to appreciate my name & it’s meaning – VICTORY!

I love life. I try to enjoy every moment of it & today I love the name

Nichole.

So for all the Nichole’s, Nicole’s or Nicolle’s out there - GET ON YOUR

FEET, TURN UP YOUR MUSIC & CELEBRATE MY VICTORY WITH ME. LET US SHOW THE WORLD THAT WE ARE AMAZING!
